Our Beliefs
Outlet Community Church affirms the following core beliefs, which guide our teaching, leadership, and ministry.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God—fully truthful and authoritative in all matters of faith and life. It is sufficient for teaching, correction, and training in righteousness, and it serves as the foundation for our preaching and teaching.
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who is holy, loving, and sovereign over all creation.
Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose bodily from the dead. Through Jesus alone, humanity can be reconciled to God.
Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Salvation is not earned by works, but it results in a transformed life marked by obedience and discipleship.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer, empowering them to live a godly life, grow in spiritual maturity, understand Scripture, and serve the Church and the world.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers, and is called to worship God, care for one another, and make disciples of all nations.
Discipleship
We believe every follower of Jesus is called to grow in their relationship with Him and to actively make disciples, living out their faith in everyday life.
The Return of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ will return again, and that God will ultimately restore all things according to His perfect plan.
